2022 vintage
93/100 | Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
Aromas of blossoms and delicate rose flowers, a mix of white and red strawberry scents along with red melon. Plush, ripe fruity and dry on the palate with a core of cherry and light white strawberry flavours. No mistaking the youthful squeeze of acidity then core fruit flavours for contrast. Well made, youthful and fresh with a salivating and thirst-quenching finish.
90/100 | James Suckling
Inviting aromas of lemon, lime, elderberry and wet stone. Medium-bodied with tangy acidity. Steady, fun and fresh.

A beautiful rose and cherry scented bouquet with suggestions of fresh cherry and tart raspberry, chilled peach tea and lifted rose scents. Crisp, fruity and salivating on the palate with flavours that mirror the nose plus a stony mineral and fine chalk mouthfeel. A delicious example, dry on the finish and ready for summer 2022 imbibing.

Certified organic, the 2021 vintage is a single-vineyard Marlborough wine, made from Pinot Noir grapes, estate-grown in the lower Wairau Valley. Bright pink, it is floral and light-bodied, with fresh, gentle, watermelon-like flavours, peachy notes, good delicacy and a crisp, dry, lingering finish.

Precise, fresh, fruity and ready. Aromas and flavours of red apple and cherry, a touch of strawberry then peach. Crunchy vivid textures with a super fine tannin layer, refreshing acid line and a core of fruit. Balanced, well made and ready for Summer 2021.

Hop on the Google machine, type in ‘morganite’, and that, my friend is the colour-twin of this shiny-new, eye-poppingly pretty, certified organic rosé. Crafted by Ben Glover, from pinot noir fruit grown on their Dillons Point property in Marlborough, it’s a deliciously dry, mineral-powered spice-fest of a rosé that has enough muscle to lift even the most flaccid of chassis’. Named after Ben’s classic car of choice, this debut rosé boasts crunchy-fresh acidity, a whisker of watermelon and strawberry, and enough persistence of flavour to get you to the Whangamata Beach Hop and back.
