A beautifully balanced, fresh and frisky style of Pinot Gris that’ll have the whole table buzzing…
Clean, perky and heaving with personality. 4.5 Stars.

Off-dry, weighty and quite textural pinot gris with a mix of stone fruit, pear and nectarine with bread and ginger yeast lees characters. Nicely balanced with very fine tannins that give a dry, but not drying finish.

Bright, light golden yellow colour with some depth, showing a sugggestion of blush, lighter on the rim. The nose is full with well-concentrated and packed aromas of ripe yellow stonefruits and exotic florals, unfolding notes of rose-petals, spices and honeysuckle, and subtle nutty, lees elements at the core. Dry to taste and medium bodied, the fruit is rounded and lends pleanty of palate presence with soft, mouthfilling flavours of yellow stonefruits melded with an amalgam of tropical fruits, exotic florals, honeysuckle adn subtle nutty nuances. The mouthfeel is balanced with softly fresh, underlying acidity and the fruit builds in richness to show a degree of unctiousness. The wine carries to a soft, gently full finish of yellow stonefrtuis, honey and nuts. Serve with poultry and pork, and with semi soft cheeses over the next 4 years.
89/100 | Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier – 2017
Ripe, fruity, fleshy and loaded with aromas of white peach and pear, yellow apple and honeysuckle. On the palate- equally fleshy and fruity with flavours that reflect the nose, medium+ acidity, balanced warming alcohol, a hint of white pepper and quince, lengthy plump finish. Great balance adn well made.
